The conservation and art studio of Zofia Siek-Mlicka is a place where history meets the living matter of painting. Conservation, reconstruction and the making of faithful copies of easel paintings and icons are all based on an attentive dialogue with the work — its structure, technique and the traces of time.
Every object is treated with individual care and respect for its past. The studio combines conservation expertise with artistic sensitivity, restoring works to their former harmony and creating copies rooted in traditional painting techniques and the spirit of the old masters.

A painting copy, an icon or a conservation treatment carried out in my Conservation & Art Studio is never a mere recreation of a work — it is also care for its history, structure and authentic character. I carry out every commission with the utmost attention to detail: from the support and the technology of execution, through the paint layers, to the natural traces of passing time.
I both create hand-painted copies of paintings and provide professional conservation of works of art, restoring their former brilliance and protecting them for the future. All work is done in my fully equipped studio in Siedlec near Kraków, Poland, drawing on many years of experience in painting and conservation. Every painting is made entirely by hand — from the preparation of the support to the final layers of varnish — following the techniques of the old masters, which makes it possible to come remarkably close to the original. I offer unique, hand-painted reproductions in a range of formats and an individual approach to every project.
