Painted copies are made to order in a professionally equipped studio. The creative process covers every stage of a painting's creation — from preparing the support on panel or canvas, through building up the paint layers, to the final treatment of the surface and the application of varnishes.

Each work is painted entirely by hand, using the traditional technologies and methods characteristic of the old masters. The aim is not only to recreate the painting visually, but also to preserve its authentic expression and technique.

The studio combines conservation experience with artistic practice, offering both the care of historic objects and precise reconstructions and copies of works of art, carried out with respect for the original and its material history.

Process

How a copy is made

1. Consultation

We discuss your expectations — the choice of original, dimensions and technique. On this basis I prepare a quote and a schedule.

2. Preparing the support

I select a suitable support — a wooden panel, canvas or board — and prepare it according to the requirements of the chosen technique.

3. Painting

I create the copy layer by layer, taking care to faithfully render the colours, composition and texture of the original.

4. Finishing and delivery

The finished work is protected with varnish and carefully packed. Personal collection or shipping is available.
