About the original
“Lady with an Ermine” by Leonardo da Vinci
The original was painted by Leonardo da Vinci around 1489–1490 — a portrait of Cecilia Gallerani, favourite of the Duke of Milan. Today it is one of the most treasured paintings in Poland and is held at the Princes Czartoryski Museum, a branch of the National Museum in Kraków.
