6. Cookies, browser storage and optional services
The website uses technically essential local and session storage to remember privacy settings and the scroll position. Optional services — Google Analytics 4 and the interactive Google Map — remain disabled until you give separate consent. Refusing consent does not restrict access to the website's content.
Categories:
- Essential — remembers the privacy decision and supports basic website functions; this category cannot be disabled.
- Analytics (optional) — Google Analytics 4, enabled only after consent to compile visit statistics.
- Google Maps (optional) — the interactive map on the Contact page. Until consent is given, a locally hosted map image is shown without connecting to Google. Once the map is enabled, Google may receive information including the IP address and technical browser and device data and may store or read information on the device.
You can change your choices at any time using the Privacy settings button in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops the service from loading in the future; when analytics consent is withdrawn, the website removes the Google Analytics cookies accessible to it.
7. Google Analytics 4
With your separate consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-VFS072VFK9) to compile visit statistics, assess content popularity and improve the website. We use the basic implementation of Google Consent Mode: before consent, the Google tag is not loaded and no Analytics measurement data is sent.
After consent, the data may include pages visited and interactions, traffic source, approximate location, browser and device information, and a pseudonymous browser identifier. Google also receives the IP address needed to establish the connection. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited and is activated on the basis of your consent. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in the Google Privacy Policy and the information about how Google uses data from partner websites.
8. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. The website uses SSL encryption.
